Rosetta Omics at BIO International Convention – Boston June 2025
16-19 June 2025
Rosetta Omics had the privilege to participate in the BIO International Convention in Boston, one of the world’s most dynamic biotech and pharma hubs. Under the theme “The World Cannot Wait,” the convention brought together global leaders committed to accelerating innovation in life sciences and delivering solutions to patients faster. 🧬 The week began with the Boston-Paris Biotech Summit, a unique forum celebrating transatlantic collaboration and setting the tone for a rich and productive agenda. Our CEO, Dr. Wahid Awad, Ph.D. MBA , engaged in numerous inspiring and strategic conversations with key players across biotech, pharma, and health tech from North America, Asia, Europe and the middle east. These discussions reaffirmed the growing global momentum for AI-driven multiomics and precision oncology. 🔹 The week also featured several exciting side events, including: “Founding the Future: Europe’s Life Sciences Hub” at Hôtel-Dieu, in partnership with BioLabs BioLabs France Hotel Dieu Hospital, highlighting Paris’s innovation leadership in Europe. This event included a visit to LabCentral in Cambridge, a world-class space nurturing the next generation of biotech breakthroughs. A special moment for Rosetta Omics: a visit to our future U.S. subsidiary office at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) in Kendall Square. More to come on this soon! At GITEX AFRICA 2025, StartGate reaffirmed one of its core strategic objectives: building high-impact partnerships with public and private stakeholders to co-create sector-specific programs. Some of our flagship programs took center stage, demonstrating the power of tailored support in transforming bold ideas into impactful ventures. From early-stage acceleration to scale-up support, these programs empowered visionary entrepreneurs to showcase their startups globally. Beyond the exhibition space, our teams and their partners co-hosted insightful panels, deep diving into how collaborative, purpose-driven programs can address Africa’s most pressing challenges, including climate resilience, smart retail, sustainable agriculture, health tech, and beyond.

With concluding remarks from his excellency the, ambassador of the Netherlands in France and the president of MEDEF Mr. Patrick Martin, Today, May 27, 2025, We had the honor of participating in the Franco-Dutch Conference on Innovation and Economic Cooperation, held at MEDEF headquarters in Paris. This event marked the two-year anniversary of the Franco-Dutch Pact for Innovation and Sustainable Growth, a significant milestone in the collaborative efforts between France and the Netherlands to drive innovation, sustainability, and industrial resilience. The conference provided a platform to explore strategic synergies between France 2030 and the Dutch National Technology Strategy, focusing on Strategic synergies between national innovation strategies, Funding mechanisms for joint innovation initiatives, and talent development to support green and digital transitions. The event featured high-level speakers from both governments, industry leaders, and representatives from organisations such as the European Investment Bank (EIB) (Nathalie Climence and Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (Jellie Banga) and Bpifrance (Christian Dubarry). It was inspiring to witness the commitment to fostering a collaborative environment that drives sustainable economic growth and technological advancement

AI for Health summit 2024

The event was a remarkable experience, made even more special by being invited to the exclusive investors tour, where I had the opportunity to network one-on-one with VCs actively investing in AI and healthcare innovation. The summit, organized by Artifact and co-founded by Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, brought together 2,000 participants—a true testament to the growing momentum in the field of AI & Health. Beyond the inspiring discussions, I was delighted to reconnect with old friends and forge new connections that will undoubtedly shape the future of healthcare. At Rosetta Omics, we’re at the forefront of transforming oncology through AI-powered precision medicine. By integrating advanced spatial and multiomics data, we’re uncovering novel biomarkers and validating therapeutic targets, enabling more effective and personalized cancer treatments. Our mission is to empower physicians with tools to deliver the right treatment to the right patient at the right time. Events like this remind me how innovation, collaboration, and shared vision can truly revolutionize healthcare. I look forward to being back next year and contributing even further to the science and innovation in this transformative era of healthcare and AI.

3rd AI for Oncology congress in Milan, Italy

Our CSO, Dr. Kevin Adam, PhD, MBE introduced our work on Colorectal Cancer at the 3rd AI for Oncology congress in Milan, Italy led by Arsela Prelaj at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano. Great discussions and interactions with the community in the field! it is always great to meet with familiar faces and establish connection with this vibrant italian network bringing international experts together from the scientific, medical and industry domains, all aiming for better AI solutions in the field of oncology. We would like to thank our partners from the ICM – Institut du Cancer de Montpellier and Maastricht University for collaborating with us on this work. It was exciting sharing what we are doing at Rosetta Omics and exploring what could be done in the future. We are looking forward to follow up with the recently created ESAC – European Interdisciplinary Society of AI for Cancer Research and to establish strategic collaboration.

11th Annual Healthtech Investment Forum

We are pleased to announce that the 11th Annual HealthTech Investment Forum (#Sachs_HTIF) will take place on the 24th of September 2024 at the Mövenpick Hotel Basel. The event will be part of the Sachs Autumn Life Sciences Week (#SALSW), which will also incorporate the 24th Annual Biotech in Europe Forum. The physical programme will consist of the usual panels and keynotes, which will be available on-demand from the 2nd of October. Additionally, there will be pre-arranged in-person meetings, live and on-demand company showcases and a reception. During the online week, virtual meetings will be available through the online meeting system. The main programme for the 11th Annual HTIF will feature more than 7 hours of high-level speeches and panel discussions. In addition, there will be a global company showcase of around 20 presentations by established public, private, emerging and seed companies, offering innovative solutions and seeking investment and partnering opportunities. We anticipate 250+ delegates from Digital Health, MedTech/Device companies, banks, investors and advisors with part of the audience participating virtually.

11th edition of JNDA – BRIDGE AFRICA

We had the privilege of attending the 11th edition of JNDA – BRIDGE AFRICA (Journées Nationales des Diasporas et de l’Afrique) – BRIDGE AFRICA (National Days of the Diaspora and Africa) in Paris. This inspiring event, dedicated to building essential connections within the African ecosystem, goes beyond a simple gathering; it embodies a shared vision of Africa’s future by bringing together talent, fostering valuable exchanges, and encouraging strategic partnerships across the continent. As an African, I was proud to represent Egypt, my home country, and ESCP Business School where I serve as a board member of the alumni association (ESCP Alumni). Alongside partners like the African Business Club, ESCP supported this year’s JNDA with an engaging exhibition stand and a workshop titled “Career Opportunities in Africa,” sparking conversations on the professional prospects, challenges, and growth potential for talent eager to contribute to Africa’s development. Spending my staturday in the company of fellow African leaders was an enriching experience. We explored collaboration opportunities and I envisioned the day my company, Rosetta Omics, would expand its impact into Africa and serving african patients and healthcare institutions.

CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Wahid Awad participated in the meet2win conference organized by Matwin in Bordeaux, France. MEET2WIN is an annual partnering convention dedicated to open innovation in oncology. Dr. Awad had more than 20 B2B meetings where he discussed collaboration opportunities with pharma, biotech, hospitals, and investors. The convention had more than 300 Participants coming from France, Europe and the USA to discuss collaborative opportunities in the field of oncology. The organizer, MATWIN (Maturation & Accelerating Translation With Industry) is the only French open-innovation platform specifically dedicated to oncology. MATWIN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Unicancer group (gathering all the French Comprehensive Cancer Centres) offers several actions (expertise, accelerating program, events, etc.) aiming at accelerating the development of innovative projects dedicated to the fight against cancer.

Taking a moment to highlight our CEO Dr. Wahid Awad, Ph.D. MBA participation at the second edition of the Deep Tech Summit DTS 2025, held this month at UM6P – University Mohammed VI Polytechnic in Benguerir, Morocco. This remarkable event brought together over 5,500 participants from 53 countries, to explore the transformative impact of AI on deep tech innovation across sectors like health, energy, agriculture, and governance. Our CEO contributed to the discussions on how precision medicine and AI are revolutionizing cancer care. Engaging with fellow innovators, researchers, and investors at DTS 2025 was both inspiring and energizing. The summit’s theme, “Redefining Progress: How Artificial Intelligence is Transforming Deep Tech Innovation”, resonated deeply with our mission to harness cutting-edge technology for meaningful healthcare advancements. A highlight of the summit was witnessing the recognition of the Egyptian VC Sawari Ventures (Ibrahim Ramadan) – and the participation of some of our partners from France such as Bpifrance (Inès TAZI) and Hello Tomorrow (Selma El Ouardi). We extend our heartfelt thanks to UM6P Ventures UM6P France STARTGATE and the whole organizing team for creating such a dynamic platform that fosters collaboration and innovation. Events like DTS 2025 are pivotal in positioning Africa as a global hub for deep tech excellence. With a wide-ranging and expert panel, the forum emphasized themes like prevention, urban-rural care dynamics, human-centric innovation, and designing unified care pathways in a digital era.

Johnson & Johnson symposium
2 June 2024
Dr. Wahid Awad, CEO and Cofounder of Rosetta Omics will participate in the Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS symposium on “Partnering and Business Models in Precision Medicine”. ”The symposium will investigate three topics in detail: Topic 1: Diagnostics & biomarkers During this session the speakers focused on innovations supporting the classification of patients into subpopulations based on differences in biological markers such as markers in blood samples, the nucleome or “omics”. Specific challenges such as the regulatory pathway and integration in standard-of-care will be addressed. Topic 2: Patient stratification using data sets. The discussion focused on the use of small or big data sets, such as those from biobanks to distinguish subgroups of patients. Solutions in this space might include longitudinal studies, federated learning in digital medical records, or imputation from one genotype to another. Issues to address might include governance of health-related data, infrastructure and system integration. Topic 3: Digital applications for Real-World Evidence studies

The 5th day of “Early Phases in Cancerology Meeting” took place at the Palais des Congrès in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, near Paris. The exchanges and debates for all the actors involved in this field of oncology had a common ambition “How can we make France the most attractive country for early phases of oncology?
